The new “state-of-the-art” SBS DS Dual Sinter brake pad compound and complex manufacturing technology has been developed over a period of 3 years. Severely tested in SBS’ high-tech brake-dyno and bike tested by the best World Championship race teams to withstand the extreme load from speed and temperatures. SBS DS Dual Sinter also meets the expected performance requirements of the never-ending development of engine power, suspension and tyre technology in World Championship racing.

First World Superbike podium with DS Dual Sinter was achieved at the initial 2006 WSBK rounds in Quatar and Phillip Island.
First World Supersport win with DS Dual Sinter was achieved in the 2006 WSS race at legendary high speed and hard braking Monza track.
24 hours complete race distance with only one brake pad set-up, was achieved by SBS front-running teams in the 2006 World Endurance Championship races at Lemans, Oschersleben and Bol d’or.
